We are seeking an experienced and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our sales operations across India. Based in Bengaluru South, this full-time, on-site role involves driving national sales strategy, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring achievement of revenue targets. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong business development skills and the ability to lead across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national sales strategies to meet and exceed business goals
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of regional and area sales managers across multiple locations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform strategy
- Oversee day-to-day sales operations and ensure consistent execution across regions
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align on business objectives
- Analyze sales data and prepare detailed reports for senior management
- Establish performance metrics and ensure timely achievement of sales targets
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales management, business development, and strategic planning
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and scale a national sales team
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze market data and trends to drive business decisions
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Master's or Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Prior experience in sectors such as Logistics, FMCG, IT, or Engineering is a plus
- Willingness to travel as required to support regional teams and client engagements
