Description:

Role & responsibilities:

- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement national sales strategies to drive revenue and market share within the CSD, CPC, and general Government sectors.

- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in CSD Head Office, CPC headquarters, master canteens, and various government/defense agencies.

- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, secure product listings, and expand the client base within the government and institutional segments.

- Team Leadership and Management: Lead, coach, and motivate a nationwide sales team (e.g., Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives) to achieve sales targets and ensure performance parity across branches.

- Sales Execution and Monitoring: Oversee the entire sales process, from order generation and logistics coordination to timely delivery and payment collection. Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management.

- Compliance and Regulation: Ensure all sales activities, contracts, and transactions strictly comply with government rules, regulations, and procurement procedures specific to CSD/CPC channels.

- Product and Price Management: Ensure timely introduction of new products, manage pricing strategies, and maintain optimal product visibility and availability at canteens and outlets.

- Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal departments such as Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance to ensure seamless operations and alignment of strategies.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in sales, with mandatory and proven experience in managing CSD, CPC, or similar institutional/government sales channels.

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA/Post-Graduate degree is often preferred.

Skills:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation, sales forecasting, and market analysis.

- Knowledge of government procurement processes and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suites
