JOB PURPOSE:

Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement GT sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Define channel-wise and geography-wise sales targets and resource allocation.
- Conduct regular reviews and refine go-to-market (GTM) models.
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Area Sales Managers (ASMs), and Sales Officers.
Market Expansion & Coverage:
- Identify opportunities for distribution expansion in under-served markets.
- Drive numeric and weighted distribution across urban, semi-urban, and rural areas.
Sales Execution & Visibility:
- Ensure visibility, availability, and activation at retail points.
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing for scheme execution and BTL activities.
Data & Business Intelligence:
- Analyze sales data and consumer trends to derive actionable insights.
- Use tools (DMS, BI dashboards, SFA) to drive transparency and performance.
Cross-functional Coordination:
Coordinate with supply chain, marketing, finance, and HR for seamless operations.
