Position Overview:

Candidate is responsible for driving the sales and business development strategy across PAN India. This role requires a seasoned leader who can strategize and execute sales plans, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and manage high-performance teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Food/FMCG sales, strong business acumen, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:

- Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to drive revenue growth across the region.

- Lead the development of go-to-market strategies, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

- Set clear, measurable sales targets and work towards achieving and exceeding them.

- Continuously analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.

Team Leadership & Development:

- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performance team, ensuring strong collaboration and accountability.

- Provide coaching, training, and career development support to build the capabilities of the sales team.

- Create a culture of excellence, innovation, and ownership within the sales function.

Business Development & Market Penetration:

- Identify and expand new business opportunities in General Trade, Modern trade, E-Com & Quick Com channels.

- Strengthen existing relationships with key distributors, customers, and business partners to drive long-term growth.

- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure a seamless market presence.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

- Drive the execution of sales and business development plans, ensuring timely and efficient implementation.

- Oversee the execution of promotional campaigns and ensure maximum visibility and brand penetration.

- Develop and implement strategies to enhance market share and brand awareness in the region.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

- Continuously track and report on the sales performance, providing actionable insights for senior management.

- Use data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies, identify areas for improvement, and optimize performance.

- Manage budgets, forecasts, and sales reports, ensuring adherence to company financial goals.

Sales & Business Acumen: Deep understanding of Food/FMCG markets, consumer trends, and sales strategies.

Strategic Thinking: Exceptional ability to think strategically, formulate action plans, and drive business outcomes.

Leadership & Influence: Ability to lead by example, inspire teams, and collaborate effectively across departments.

Communication & Negotiation: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders.

Analytical Mindset: Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Integrity & Accountability: High level of professionalism, integrity, and ownership in all aspects of the role.
