Job Purpose:
To lead the company's sales and marketing functions across all channels-Dealer Network, Modern Retail (CSD/CPC/Departmental Stores), E-commerce, and Institutional (TIE: Team, Institution, Events). The role is responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, market penetration, and brand visibility through well-aligned sales and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Functional Area Responsibility
1 Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement national sales strategies aligned with the Annual Business Plan (ABP).
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual value and volume targets.
2 Dealer Network Management
- Strengthen distributor relationships and expand channel coverage.
- Oversee trade schemes, claims management, merchandising, and dealer engagement.
3 Modern Retail (CSD/CPC/Dept. Stores)
- Drive partnerships with institutional buyers and department stores.
- Ensure pricing discipline, product listing, and timely fulfillment.
4 E-commerce Sales
- Manage business on Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.
- Oversee listing, pricing, fulfillment, and visibility on Quick Commerce platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, and Instamart.
- Optimize digital promotions and inventory for rapid delivery models.
- Drive and monitor direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales through the company's official website, ensuring seamless UI, payment gateways, and timely dispatch.
5 TIE (Team, Institution, Events)
- Plan and execute institutional and event-based marketing tie-ups.
- Enhance brand recall and generate B2B orders through targeted outreach.
6 Retail Business (EBO/MBO) Management & Expansion
- Oversee the performance of existing Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) and Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs), ensuring business growth and operational efficiency.
- Drive retail expansion plans in line with the company's strategic goals and market potential.
- Monitor store-wise sales performance, footfall analysis, and take corrective actions to meet revenue targets.
- Ensure excellent customer experience, brand consistency, and visual merchandising standards across all stores.
- Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, VM, inventory, etc.) to optimize in-store promotions and stock availability.
7 Marketing Team Management
- Lead and guide the marketing team on campaign planning and execution across digital and offline platforms.
- Align marketing strategies with sales priorities to ensure consistent brand messaging and ROI-driven activities.
- Supervise content development, social media promotions, and event branding.
8 Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and oversee all vertical teams, including E-commerce (Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, etc.), Modern Trade (CSD, CPC, large format stores), Dealer/Distribution Network, TIE Division (Team, Institution, Events), Company-Owned Retail (EBO/MBO), and Marketing & Digital Promotions.
- Set clear objectives, align KPIs with business strategy, and ensure regular performance reviews across all functions.
- Foster collaboration between verticals to ensure synergy in execution, branding, and revenue delivery.
9 Forecasting & Reporting
- Submit timely and accurate demand forecasts.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance analyses.
10 Business Development
- Identify and develop new market opportunities in rural and urban geographies.
- Launch strategic product lines to increase market share.
11 Market Intelligence
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to guide decisions.
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum Qualification: Graduate (Any discipline)
- Preferred Qualification: MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration
- Minimum Experience: 15-20 Years
- Relevant Experience: Extensive experience in sales leadership, preferably in FMCG, Sports Goods, Footwear, or Consumer Durables
- Industry Exposure: Sports Goods, Footwear, FMCG, Consumer Electronics
