National Sales Head - FMCG


Job Description:


General Trade (GT) - Primary Focus:

- Design and execute a robust GT expansion strategy across regional clusters

- Drive distributor management, route-to-market optimization, and field force productivity

- Improve numeric and weighted distribution through strategic outlet coverage

- Execute local promotions and trade marketing for retail impact

Modern Trade (MT):

- Lead national and regional account relationships with key retail chains

- Negotiate annual contracts, JBP (Joint Business Plans), and visibility initiatives

- Ensure on-shelf availability, planogram compliance, and category growth

Quick Commerce (QC):

- Build and own partnerships with leading QC platforms (e.g., Blinkit, Zepto)

- Establish data-driven pricing and assortment strategies for instant delivery models

- Ensure seamless supply chain and digital performance tracking

Team Leadership & Strategy:

- Recruit, train, and energize high-performing regional sales teams

- Monitor market trends, competition activities, and channel evolution

- Align monthly sales forecasts with demand planning and finance

- Report KPIs to leadership with actionable insights
