Job Description: National Sales Head Electric Vehicle (EV) 3-Wheeler Lithium Battery
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic National Sales Head to lead the sales and distribution strategy for our EV 3-wheeler lithium battery division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing robust distribution strategies, managing channel sales, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across the country. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the EV industry, distribution channels, and market dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Distribution Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive distribution strategies to expand market reach for EV 3-wheeler lithium batteries nationwide.
- Identify and onboard new distribution partners, dealers, and channel partners aligned with the company's growth objectives.
- Optimize existing distribution networks for efficiency, reach, and service quality.
- Monitor and analyze distribution performance metrics; implement corrective actions to meet sales and coverage targets.
2. Channel Sales & Development
- Lead the channel sales team to achieve sales targets through effective management and motivation.
- Build strong relationships with channel partners, providing ongoing support, training, and incentives to ensure high performance.
- Design and execute channel marketing programs to drive awareness and demand.
- Conduct regular market visits and reviews to ensure channel compliance and performance.
3. Market Expansion & Customer Engagement
- Identify new market opportunities, including emerging regions and customer segments.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop customized solutions for different customer segments.
- Gather market feedback and competitor insights to refine sales and distribution strategies.
4. Sales Forecasting & Reporting
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets; track progress regularly.
- Provide detailed reports on sales, distribution, and market trends to senior management.
- Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and address challenges proactively.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, marketing, supply chain, and after-sales teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
- Align sales strategies with overall company goals and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Head or Senior Sales Manager in the EV, automotive, or battery industry.
- In-depth understanding of distribution channels, channel management, and market dynamics in the EV sector.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and develop actionable insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
