National Sales Head
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and execute national sales strategies specific to consumer electronics.
- Identify new product opportunities, competitive trends, and emerging markets.
- Drive annual sales planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the category.
Channel & Distribution Management:
- Build and manage a robust offline & online distribution network (modern trade, general trade, LFR, e-commerce).
- Strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retail chains, and key accounts.
- Lead channel expansion strategies across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 markets.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead regional sales managers and zonal leaders across India.
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performance sales team.
- Set performance targets and ensure consistent achievement.
Business Development & Key Account Management:
- Drive business with major retail partners and national chains.
- Manage large-scale negotiations, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with marketing for product launches and retail campaigns.
Market Intelligence & Performance Tracking:
- Monitor market share, category performance, and competitor activities.
- Analyse sales metrics and business performance across regions.
- Present regular reports and business insights to management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams.
- Support product roadmap discussions based on market feedback and customer demand.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience in consumer electronics sales (mandatory).
- Strong distributor/channel management expertise.
- Experience managing national-level sales operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to drive aggressive growth targets in a competitive market.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
