National Manager - Collections - Auto Finance Captive

Role Overview:

A leading captive auto finance company is seeking an experienced collections leader to drive the national collections function across India. The role will own end-to-end collections strategy, portfolio health, agency management, digital collections adoption, and leadership of large field and tele-collections teams across multiple regions for the retail vehicle finance portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end national collections strategy across all regions and states.

- Drive bucket-wise collections performance, portfolio quality, roll-rate improvement, and Non-Performing Asset reduction.

- Build and lead regional, zonal, and field collections teams while enhancing operational effectiveness.

- Develop region-specific collections strategies based on customer behaviour, local market dynamics, and portfolio trends.

- Manage collections agencies, recovery partners, and cross-functional coordination with credit, risk, and legal teams.

- Drive technology-led collections initiatives, digital repayment adoption, and management reporting through portfolio dashboards and key performance metrics.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 1219 years of collections experience with at least 45 years managing national or multi-regional collections.

- Strong experience in Two Wheeler, Four Wheeler, Personal Loan, Consumer Durable, or Retail Lending collections.

- Proven leadership experience managing large, geographically distributed collections teams.

- Hands-on exposure to collections platforms such as FINNONE, C-Collect, Salesforce, or similar solutions.

- Strong analytical capability with expertise in portfolio reporting, roll-rate analysis, and collections management information systems.

- Comfortable with frequent travel and managing stakeholders across India.
