National Legal Head - Opinion - LLB

Job Purpose:

The candidate will be required to enable clear focus on pre-opinion registration and PDD management on the legal documents of the customers applied for LAP, Housing finance, and MSE Mortgage products with the bank.

Job Responsibilities:

- Giving pre-opinion by verifying legal documents of the customers for the loan applied.

- Verification of legal documents and disbursement trigger to be initiated by legal team members.

- Handling a team of National Legal Managers, Zonal managers, ALM, and RLM.

- Process Compliance: Adhere to the laid down processes for legal documents verification.

- Ensure all the post disbursement documents are tracked and sent to HO.

- Development of legal process and implementation of the same across all locations.

- Responsible to train team on legal documents and process to be followed.

Job Requirements:

- Must have 15-20 years of experience in handling opinion of documents for LAP, Housing finance, and MSE Mortgage products.

- Type of companies/sector worked for: Private commercial banks and large NBFCs or Housing finance companies.

- Responsibilities managed in the previous organizations: Primarily responsible for pre-opinion of the legal documents for an eligibility of Housing or LAP product.

- Languages: Hindi, English, and Local language.

- Computer/technical skills: Basic Computer Knowledge.

Education:

Graduation: LLB.

Post-graduation: Added advantage.

Professional Qualifications: Any professional degree.
