- Has 5-8 years of experience in the FMCG/retail sector, with a solid foundation (3-5 years) in a large, structured corporate environment.

- Possesses a deep understanding of FMCG modern trade dynamics, category management, and retail operations.

- Can independently drive business growth through strategic tie-ups and account expansion.

- Thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment where you can build and execute a modern trade strategy from the ground up.

- Has strong negotiation and relationship management skills with key retail chains.


What you will do at:


Business Development & Strategy:


- Develop and execute modern trade sales strategies specific to the FMCG landscape to achieve revenue targets.

- Identify new business opportunities and drive strategic tie-ups with major FMCG retail chains.

- Ensure penetration of new products and SKU expansion within existing modern trade accounts.


Key Account Management:


- Manage and grow relationships with Key Accounts To optimize sales


Sales & Performance Management:


- Track and analyze sales data, category performance, and market trends within the FMCG space.

- Monitor sell-in/sell-out trends and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal product availability at retail stores.

- Work closely with distributors and sales teams to streamline the supply chain for our products.


Promotions & Trade Marketing:


- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute impactful trade promotions and visibility programs tailored for the retail channel.

- Monitor ROI on trade spends and optimize investments to maximize brand presence and sales.


Cross-functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with supply chain, finance, and marketing teams to align on business goals.

- Coordinate with field teams and merchandising partners to ensure execution excellence.


Qualifications:


- Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 5-8 years of experience in modern trade sales within the FMCG/retail industry.

- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a large corporate setting is preferred.

- Proven expertise in category management, sales forecasting, and trade negotiations
