The National Key Accounts Manager for Modern Trade is responsible for developing and managing strategic key accounts on a national level. Account Management: a) Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to drive business growth. b) Ensure client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly. c) Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the accounts. 2. Strategic Planning: a) Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and market share growth. b) Align account strategies with overall business objectives and goals. c) Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. 3. Sales Performance: a) Achieve sales targets and objectives for the key accounts. b) Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to senior management. c) Collaborate with the sales team to ensure effective execution of sales strategies. 4. Collaboration: a) Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional activities. b) Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products. c) Liaise with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Negotiation & Contracts: a) Lead negotiations with key accounts to secure favorable terms and conditions. b) Manage contract renewals and ensure compliance with agreed terms. c) Handle pricing, promotional activities, and other commercial agreements. 6. Qualifications: a) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred. b) Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in key account management, preferably within the FMCG/Beverage or retail industry. c) Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. d) Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. e) Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities. f) Ability to work independently and as part of a team. g) Proficiency in MS Office.
