Description: Hiring: BU Head Solar | Chennai
Are you a seasoned business leader with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for driving growth in the solar ecosystem? We are looking for a dynamic BU Head Solar to spearhead strategy, partnerships, and business expansion for our client's fast-growing Solar division.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in scaling businesses, building teams, and shaping long-term direction.
What Youll Lead:
- Craft and execute the business roadmap for the solar vertical
- Build a strong revenue engine and deliver on annual growth plans
- Strengthen relationships with vendors, channel partners, and system integrators
- Spot emerging opportunities and convert them into scalable business lines
- Lead and empower a diverse team to achieve ambitious goals
What Were Looking For:
- 15 to 25 years of experience in sales, product, or business management
- Strong exposure to solar equipment distribution or similar high-volume, channel-driven industries.
- Prior experience heading a business unit, vertical, or large product portfolio
- A proven ability to drive commercial performance, expand markets, and build winning teams
- A graduate degree + full-time MBA (Sales/Marketing specialization preferred)
