Job Brief:
- We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Sales Leader to head and scale our pan-India Retail and Project Sales business.
- This role goes beyond traditional sales leadership - it requires someone who can integrate retail, channel, and project sales into a unified growth engine.
- Currently, teams operate in silos across regions and functions.
- Your mission will be to bring alignment, build structure, and drive aggressive yet sustainable growth across both retail and project verticals.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Lead the entire Retail and Project Sales business across India.
- Define and execute a unified national sales strategy across retail, institutional, and project channels.
- Drive revenue growth across dealer networks, distributors, modern trade, and project/institutional clients.
Retail Sales Management:
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing retail sales team across regions.
- Standardise retail SOPs, store execution frameworks, and channel processes.
- Strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, franchisees, and modern trade partners.
- Ensure strong execution of retail rollouts, promotions, and in-store initiatives.
Project / Institutional Sales:
- Lead and expand the project sales vertical (B2B / institutional / bulk sales).
- Develop relationships with architects, contractors, builders, consultants, and corporate clients.
- Drive large-ticket deals across real estate, infrastructure, and institutional segments.
- Build a structured pipeline for tenders, key accounts, and long-cycle sales opportunities.
Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Break silos and align retail, project sales, distribution, supply chain, and marketing teams.
- Ensure seamless coordination between demand generation and execution.
- Work closely with leadership on business planning, forecasting, and expansion strategies.
Business Ownership:
- Own national revenue targets, P&L visibility, and growth metrics.
- Drive sell-through, forecasting, and region-wise performance strategies.
- Represent the organisation at a national level with key stakeholders and partners.
Qualifications:
- 15 to 20+ years of experience in Retail + Project / Institutional Sales.
- Minimum 7 to 10+ years in a National Leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing pan-India sales operations.
- Strong experience in both channel sales (retail) and project/institutional sales.
- Demonstrated ability to build teams, create SOPs, and implement scalable sales structures.
- Strong network with key industry stakeholders (dealers, distributors, architects, builders, etc.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong execution mindset.
- Comfortable working from the Mumbai office.
- Demonstrated a stable career history with long tenures across previous organisations.
