Role Summary:
- The National Head Insurance will oversee nationwide insurance operations, brokerage channels, revenue strategy, and compliance.
- The role requires strong leadership, deep BFSI knowledge, and expertise in insurance distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead national insurance business operations, profitability, and strategic expansion.
- Establish and scale brokerage channels, partnerships, and distribution networks.
- Manage P&L, forecasting, business planning, and territory growth.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations and internal governance standards.
- Drive digital insurance initiatives, automation, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Collaborate with insurers, partners, and enterprise stakeholders.
- Lead a multi-location team of sales heads, regional managers, and business units.
Required Skills:
- Deep domain expertise in Insurance, Brokerage Models, BFSI
- Experience in multi-tier distribution and partner management
- Strong leadership, analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Strong understanding of IRDAI regulatory framework
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in digital insurance products and platform-led channels
- Exposure to underwriting, claims, and risk management
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required; MBA/PGDM preferred
- Minimum 10 years in insurance leadership roles
