The National Head - Franchise Business is responsible for leading, expanding, and managing the franchise distribution network across India for the broking and investment services business. This role focuses on driving partner acquisition, revenue growth, regulatory compliance, relationship management, and operational excellence, ensuring the franchise channel contributes significantly to the firm's overall retail growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Franchise Network Expansion

- Develop and execute national strategy to expand franchise/authorized person (AP) network across regions.

- Identify high-potential markets and spearhead franchise acquisition initiatives.

- Drive onboarding, due diligence, and documentation in coordination with compliance and legal teams.

2. Business Growth & Revenue Management

- Deliver revenue targets through franchise partners across equity, derivatives, commodities, currency, and investment products (MF, PMS, bonds, insurance, etc.).

- Monitor business performance, productivity, and profitability of franchise partners.

- Implement incentive structures, business campaigns, and regional activation plans.

3. Partner Relationship Management

- Build strong relationships with key franchise partners to enhance engagement and retention.

- Conduct periodic business reviews, performance analysis, and capability development sessions with partners.

- Resolve escalations and ensure seamless service delivery through coordination with operations, risk, and tech teams.

4. Strategic Planning & Execution

- Drive digital adoption, platform usage, and tech-enabled business growth across the franchise network.

- Identify new product opportunities and market trends to strengthen franchise channel contribution.

- Develop and implement national-level marketing and branding strategies for franchise business growth.

5. Compliance, Risk & Governance

- Ensure all franchise partners adhere to SEBI regulations, exchange rules, and internal compliance standards.

- Monitor risk exposure, unauthorized trades, and other regulatory concerns across the franchise network.

- Lead audits, inspections, and corrective action implementation.

6. Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and manage a large pan-India business development team.

- Set quarterly/annual goals, track KPIs, and ensure regional teams are aligned with national strategy.

- Drive capability building and continuous training programs for sales and franchise teams.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Deep understanding of stockbroking business, equity & derivative markets, and investment products.

- Strong network within the broking and franchise ecosystem.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building abilities.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to drive large-scale national initiatives and manage multi-regional teams.

- Tech-savvy, familiar with broking platforms, APIs, digital acquisition, and CRM tools.
