Position: National Head Collection - Tractor & Commercial Vehicle
Education: MBA/ PGDM/ PGDBA
Location: Chennai
Age: Max 45 Years
Purpose of the Role:
To lead nationwide tractor loan collections, safeguarding asset quality and minimizing delinquencies by driving strategic recovery initiatives and a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
Job Role:
- Manpower Planning in line with the approved budget
- Develop and implement a nationwide strategy for tractor loan collections.
- Monitor portfolio performance and take corrective actions to minimize delinquencies and NPAs.
- Set performance targets and ensure high productivity of the collections team.
- Establish a strong performance-driven culture within the collections department.
- Ensure ethical and customer-friendly collection practices.
- Identify, onboard, and manage third-party collection agencies and repossession vendors.
- Work closely with sales, credit, and customer service teams to improve customer repayment behavior.
- Conduct regular team reviews to discuss strategies, share best practices, and address challenges.
- To analyze the delinquency, collection trends and suggest ways to improve in the areas of poor / moderate performance. and ensure proactive risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strict adherence to RBI guidelines while repossession process.
- Ensuring compliance and hygiene for all settlements and repossession activities
- Cost Optimization - Manage the overall cost of Collections for the division
- Accurate and timely payout process for vendors.
- Coordinate with the legal team for initiating legal actions like OD Notices, Section 9 & Sec 138., arbitration, and litigation for recovery.
- Set up and manage collection processes for different delinquency buckets (early-stage, mid-stage, and late-stage collections).
- Ensure vendor compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Evaluate and assess credit and collection risks, proposing strategies to mitigate potential losses
- Monitor delinquency trends and recommend changes to collection strategies accordingly.
