Role Overview:

As the National Head - BD - SIS for a leading Footwear MNC, you will spearhead the strategic development and execution of our Shop-in-Shop (SIS) business across India. This pivotal role involves identifying and securing new SIS locations, nurturing relationships with key retail partners, and driving revenue growth through innovative sales strategies. You will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and optimal performance of our SIS network. Your efforts will directly impact the brand's visibility, market share, and overall profitability within the dynamic Indian footwear market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive national SIS business development strategy to achieve ambitious growth targets.

- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate agreements with potential retail partners for new SIS locations, ensuring alignment with brand standards and profitability goals.

- Manage and cultivate strong relationships with existing retail partners to maximize sales performance and expand our SIS footprint.

- Lead a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team objectives.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective promotional campaigns and in-store activations to drive foot traffic and sales within SIS locations.

- Work closely with the operations team to ensure efficient supply chain management, visual merchandising, and customer service standards across all SIS locations.

- Prepare and present regular reports on SIS performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to senior management.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies in the retail sector, specifically within the footwear or fashion industry.

- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with key retail partners at a national level.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA from a Tier 1 institute is preferred.

- Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and comfortable working in a hybrid work setup based in Gurgaon/Gurugram.
