National Head - Branch Strategy & New Branches

Job Summary :

The role holder is responsible for handling the following functions :

- Branch Banking Strategy

- Business & P&L Head New Branches (0-3 years vintage)

- Branch Interface & Analytics

Responsibilities :

Strategy and Planning :

- Responsible for the Business Delivery of the New Branches (0-3 years vintage) at the head office (Strategy, Planning, Process, Support & Control Initiatives) & Execution in zones through Zonal Channel Heads/ ZBH /Regional Heads.

- Branch Banking Strategy: Strategic Initiatives & projects (including data science & technology) which make Branch Distribution deliver greater business, productivity, lower costs, better P&L.

Policies, Processes & Procedures :

- Ideate & execute Strategic Initiatives/Projects in branch distribution like Branch Profitability, New Branch opening etc.

- Support Country head in articulating & evangelizing Branch Strategy with internal /external stakeholders & executing the same on ground.

- Serve as Nodal point for Branch Banking for inter departmental coordination with Finance, HR, Transformation office, Product teams for branch banking related projects.

- Responsible for accurate/on time analytics/Business Intelligence through Branch Analytics & Interface team.

Risk and Internal Control :

- Ensure that all associated processes are compliant and no breach of compliance norms.

People Management :

- Monitors and enables the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the section.

- Ensuring Training & Development.

- Develops talent within the team by providing guidance, ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of the defined goals.
