Educational Qualifications: MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree in management from a recognized institution. Preference will be given to candidates from Tier-1 B-Schools (such as IIMs, ISB, XLRI, FMS, SPJIMR, MDI, etc.).

Role: Content & Category Marketing Manager

- Planning, execution and management of category communication & multiple forms of brand content including ads, social media, website, packaging, etc.


- Drive brand buildup via content, collaboration, community & other means.


- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (category, channel sales/growth, creative) and external agencies and stakeholders.


- Lead a culture of insight driven marketing and brand building.

Responsibilities:

This role sits at the intersection of content creation and category ownership - responsible for building strong brand narratives, driving category visibility, and delivering business growth through impactful campaigns. The ideal candidate is equal parts storyteller and strategist-someone who understands consumer insights, knows how to craft compelling content, and can translate category priorities into engaging marketing initiatives.

Content Marketing

- Build a cohesive content calendar aligned with brand, business, and category priorities.

- Create compelling, SEO-friendly, consumer-first content across channels: website, blogs, social media, email, paid media, and partnerships.

- Ensure consistency of brand voice, tone, and storytelling across all consumer-facing communication.

- Collaborate with design, performance, and product teams to bring campaigns to life.

- Experiment with new formats (video, reels, influencer content, UGC, podcasts, etc.) to keep engagement high.

Category Marketing

- Own marketing strategy and execution for key identified categories

- Partner with category/business teams to define positioning, product narratives, and go-to-market strategies.

- Develop consumer journeys and identify marketing touchpoints across digital, retail, and experiential channels.

- Drive visibility for key launches, hero SKUs, and seasonal campaigns.

- Track and analyze category performance metrics (traffic, conversion, market share, repeat rate, etc.) and optimize initiatives accordingly.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelors of Engineering / Medicine / Science / Maths / Economics / Stats / Psychology

- 4-6 yrs of business growth / marketing experience.

- Atleast 2 yrs of marketing experience in paid marketing, organic brand marketing or category marketing

- Experience in FMCG, consumer brand, consumer tech, health, wellness industries preferred. Must have had experience with digital first consumer business.

- Excellent creative ideation & writing skills. Ability to craft narratives that resonate.

- Hands-on experience with SEO, social media platforms, and content performance analytics.

- Strong analytical skills - Data forward decision making on brand and media. Clear fundamentals on reading/implementing research (qual and quant) insights on category development, customer journey and media effectiveness.

- Easily consumes consumer insights, market research data from category team & converts learning into meaningful exciting content & campaigns.

- Strong solutioning ability with a creative bent of mind towards business problems.

- Independent dealing with multiple internal & external parties to achieve goals.

- Strong bias towards action & hustle.

- Excited about building a long term brand & making organic media a strong arm of the brand
