The General Manager is responsible for managing/directing all activities in the Noida Development Centre with a current population for 300+ employees and overseeing the growth of this center.
They must have excellent communication, people management, organizational and budgeting skills ideally with knowledge of the software industry, and the ability to interact with staff across all levels and different departments.
Job Descriptions:
- Direct and oversee all local activities and departments to ensure a smooth and effective operation.
- Operate with in a global structure to align on strategic goals and local implementation plans.
Functional reporting lines include:
- Software Delivery operations
- CTO/ Technical competencies
- Client Engagement Team
- Resource Management Office
- Bid management support
- Talent Management
- IT Support
- Finance Management
- Report to the Global Delivery Director, setting objectives and agreeing plans
- Coordinate with each Global functional Head to align on policy, ways of working and manage local implementation plans
- Supervise staff, oversee their development and performance within a matrix management structure. Identify/ advance future leaders and oversee succession planning
- Track and monitor the day to day running of the operation to deliver successful client outcomes in terms of productivity, cost and quality
- Act as a point of escalation for local operational and delivery issues
- Host client visits and generate local client opportunities
- Track the bench utilisation to align supply against demand
- Own employee engagement and communication to promote company culture and goals, keep employees informed and celebrate successes
- Oversee talent acquisition, retention and people development with consideration for local market variations and trends
- Identify and manage local supplier/ partner relationships
- Manage property and procurement
- Identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency by gathering, analysing and interpreting financial/ operational performance data
- Manage operation KPIs, within a financial budget and to promote profitability
- Uphold company policies, validate compliance and recommend improvements with consideration for local regulations and legal obligations
Job Requirements:
- Master degree, preferably in IT field
- Knowledge-base/ awareness of current IT industry guidelines, technologies and legal rules
- Operating in a senior management position, with at least 10 years of experience in management
- Strong leadership & project management skills
- Excellent Problem-solving skills

- Excellent Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting skills
