Key Responsibilities
1. Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and prequalify vendors and contractors based on technical and commercial criteria.
- Ensure vendor compliance with organizational standards and project requirements.
2. Tendering & Procurement
- Prepare Tender Documents/RFPs.
- Conduct Market Rate Analysis for procurement of goods, works, and services.
- Drive timely tendering and procurement processes in alignment with project schedules.
3. Cross-functional Coordination
- Liaise with internal departments to resolve vendor queries.
- Provide clarifications on tender / RFI documents in coordination with stakeholders.
4. Techno-Commercial Negotiations
- Conduct detailed negotiations with vendors/contractors.
- Strive to achieve optimal technical and commercial outcomes for the organization.
5. Claim Analysis
- Review and analyse execution-stage claims raised by site teams.
- Assess claims for contractual compliance and cost impact before recommendations.
6. SAP Work Order Management
- Prepare Work Orders and manage vendor registration.
- Oversee relevant SAP MM module processes and formalities.
7. Contract Documentation & Compliance
- Draft, execute, and maintain systematic records of contractual documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
8. Support to Contracts Head
- Assist the Head - Contracts in daily operations and strategic planning.
- Provide analytical support for decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Graduate in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Postgraduate in Construction Management from NICMAR, Pune (preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and vendor management.
- Proficiency in tender preparation and market rate analysis.
- Experience in ERP systems, preferably SAP MM module.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proactive and result-oriented "go-getter" attitude.
