We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join MSL, focusing on nurturing and expanding relationships with strategic client accounts. As the primary point of contact, you will drive revenue growth, ensure exceptional client satisfaction, and promote the adoption of our innovative fintech products. The ideal candidate combines strong sales expertise, deep fintech knowledge, and a thorough understanding of product requirements to foster long-term partnerships and contribute to our company's success in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key accounts, serving as the main liaison between clients and internal teams to address needs, resolve issues, and ensure seamless service delivery.

- Account Growth and Strategy: Identify opportunities for account expansion through cross-selling and upselling fintech products; develop tailored account plans that align client business goals with our product offerings and strategic objectives.

- Product Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with clients to gather detailed product requirements, including technical specifications (e.g., API integration needs, scalability, security protocols) and business needs (e.g., user experience, compliance with regulations like GDPR or PCI-DSS); document and communicate these requirements to product and engineering teams to ensure alignment.

- Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key account metrics (e.g., revenue growth, product adoption rates, client retention) using CRM tools; provide data-driven reports and forecasts to stakeholders, highlighting product performance and client feedback.

- Solution Development and Customization: Partner with product managers, developers, and compliance teams to translate client requirements into actionable product features or customizations, ensuring solutions meet client expectations and industry standards.

- Risk Management and Retention: Proactively monitor account health to mitigate risks such as churn, addressing escalations swiftly and leveraging product enhancements to maintain high client satisfaction.

- Sales and Onboarding Support: Facilitate smooth onboarding of new key accounts, ensuring clear communication of product capabilities and requirements; contribute to sales pitches, leveraging product knowledge to meet revenue targets through consultative selling.

Required Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in account management, sales, or client-facing roles, with 1-2 years in fintech or financial services; demonstrated success in managing high-value accounts and driving product adoption.

- Technical Skills: Proficiency in, data analytics tools and familiarity with fintech product ecosystems (e.g., payment processing, digital lending); experience with gathering and documenting product requirements (e.g., using Jira or Confluence).

- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fintech products, including payment gateways, digital banking platforms, and compliance tools, as well as financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC,etc).

Essential Skills

- Interpersonal and Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills; adept at negotiating with C-suite executives, presenting product solutions, and building lasting relationships.

- Analytical and Strategic: Data-driven approach to analyze client needs, forecast trends, and align product requirements with strategic account plans.

- Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and articulate technical product requirements, bridging the gap between non-technical clients and technical teams.

- Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying challenges and delivering client-centric solutions, leveraging product capabilities to meet unique client needs.

- Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and collaborating effectively across teams.
