Job Title: Audit Manager / Assistant Manager

Location: Mumbai, India

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Audit Manager / Assistant Manager to join our finance team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in statutory audits for both India and UK entities, along with hands-on knowledge of IFRS, IND-AS and UK GAAP. This is a key role within the finance function, offering exposure to international accounting standards and the opportunity to contribute to a robust audit and compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage statutory audits for India and UK entities in line with applicable accounting and auditing standards.

- Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements, audit reports, and related disclosures.

- Ensure compliance with IFRS, IND-AS, UK GAAP, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.

- Liaise with external auditors, internal teams, and key stakeholders to ensure timely audit completion.

- Oversee the entire audit lifecyclefrom planning and execution to documentation and reporting.

- Identify audit issues, assess associated risks, and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.

- Support the CFO with audit-related insights, reporting, and compliance initiatives.

- Mentor and guide junior audit staff, promoting a strong culture of governance and internal control.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Mandatory.

Must have Skills & Experience:

- 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in audit.

- Strong technical knowledge of audit methodologies, financial reporting, and international accounting standards.

- Practical experience with IFRS, IND-AS, and UK GAAP.

- Proficient in Consolidation tools.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven ability to manage cross-border audits and work effectively across teams and jurisdictions.

- Prior experience with a top-tier or well-reputed CA firm, with end-to-end audit exposure.
