Position Title: Regional Market Development Manager Department: Marketing Reporting to: General Manager - Market Development Basic Responsibilities: Detail the broad activities to be performed by the employee. Activities: - 1) Market Development Responsibilities: Oversee marketing development activities across assigned regions/territories. - 2) Team Leadership: Lead a team of Area Market Development Managers and/or Market Development Executives. - 3) Influencer Engagement: Spearhead influencer engagement activities such as promotional meets, naka meets, and van activities. - 4) Activity Effectiveness Analysis: Analyse the effectiveness of engagement activities and suggest as well as execute next steps for business generation. - 5) Retention and Growth of Masons/Contractors: 1. Responsible for the retention and growth of masons and contractors within the assigned territory. 2. Lead and achieve desired targets of mason and contractor schemes. 3. Engage with non-active or zero-point users (masons/contractors) to encourage them to scan product tokens. - 6) Site Leads Management: Maintain and follow up on site leads for conversion to ensure continuous site demands of MYK Laticrete products. - 7) Relationship Building: Work closely with Architects, large masons, and contractors to establish new products in the market. - 8) Build relationships with architects and interior designers to help the team secure product and site approvals. - 9) Branding Management: Manage branding vendors and execute branding/visibility initiatives as per market demand. - 10) Responsible for Coordinating the Product Launches along with Product Managers & Local Sales Team. - 11) Strategic Approach: Inputs to team/ management to capture new/ existing market share. Deliverables (Broad KRAs): - 1. Achieving set Silver & Gold Users Retention & their Points Growth from each of his assigned territories. - 2. Achieving set Premium Products Level Scan Growth Targets. - 3. Achieving Contractor Scheme Targets. - 4. Achieving Retail Lead Generation & Conversion Targets. - 5. Achieving Site/Specification Approvals from B/C Class Architects. - 6. Achieving set Promotional Meets Execution Targets along with Post Meeting Attendees Productivity. - 7. Achieving Branding Execution Targets of entire region/zone. Dimensions: - 6 - 8 number of team members. - Sales Revenue. Person Specifications Education: - MBA. - Essential: MBA from Tier 1 & Tier 2 colleges. Experience & Skills Required: - Digital Literacy. - 6 - 8 years experience as a team leader along with overall experience of 10 - 12 in sales/business development / influencer engagement (regular MBA colleges). - 4 - 5 years experience as a team leader along with overall experience of 6 - 8 in sales/business development / influencer engagement with Team Handling (MBA from Tier 1 & 2 colleges). - Proficiency in data analysis, MS Excel, Powerpoint, Power BI, Salesforce. Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Analytical mindset to measure ROI of activities, improve efficiency, and share insights, Problem-solving orientation to address gaps in retention, activation, or other day to day marketing activities in mapped territories. - 5. Execution Excellence: Detail-oriented in planning activities, branding execution, and vendor coordination, Discipline and consistency in follow-ups (site leads, Silver & Gold Users, Contractors Qualifications, team reviews), Strong project management skills to launch New Products and Scheme/Campaigns on time. - 6. Communication & Collaboration: Collaborative mindset to align market development with sales and marketing goals, Clear communicator with team, and cross-functional stakeholders (sales, product, accounts, marketing). - 7. Entrepreneurial & Innovative Mindset: Ownership mentality, treating the region as a "mini-business unit.", Proactive in spotting new opportunities (new influencers, sites, channels), Innovative in designing local market activities beyond standard playbooks.
