
Description:
The Manager / Senior Manager Finance & Accounts will lead the organizations financial strategy, planning, and operations while ensuring strong governance, compliance, and process excellence.
This role demands deep expertise in financial management, treasury operations, taxation, accounting systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams, driving system migrations, and supporting global entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Controllership:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Ensure timely audits and statutory/tax compliance across entities.
- Drive cost optimization and improve financial performance.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
- Manage and mentor finance teams across accounting, procurement, and operational functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business goals and financial decision-making.
System & Process Improvements:
- Led migration of accounting systems (Tally to Zoho); digitized AP processes and improved TAT.
- Implement and strengthen internal controls, credit policies, and finance SOPs.
- Review contracts/agreements to evaluate financial risks.
Treasury & Cash Management:
- Manage treasury operations including credit lines, WCDL/Term Loans, BGs, and liquidity planning.
- Develop cash flow forecasts, weekly liquidity reports, and working capital optimization strategies.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
Strategic Initiatives:
- Support corporate restructuring, ownership/domicile changes, and new subsidiary incorporation.
- Lead investment processes, ESOP implementation, and financial risk management initiatives.
- Enable credit insurance, channel financing, and other treasury-led projects.
