Key Responsibilities: - Assess loan applications for unsecured business loans and LAP, ensuring accurate credit evaluation. - Conduct manual underwriting and personal discussions (PDs) to assess business viability. - Manage and mentor CPAs and Junior Underwriters to enhance decision-making and efficiency. - Analyze financials, bank statements, and GST returns to determine creditworthiness. - Evaluate geographical delinquency trends and industry-specific risks across India. - Underwrite e-commerce sellers as an added advantage. - Ensure compliance with credit policies and risk frameworks. - Provide regular feedback to improve credit policies and underwriting processes. Key Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in unsecured business loans / working capital underwriting. - Strong knowledge of Indian businesses, credit behaviors, and risk assessment. - Expertise in manual underwriting and personal discussions (PDs). - Experience in team management is an added advantage. - Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel/Google sheet and financial tools. - Strong communication and decision-making skills.
