Description:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven Area Manager to oversee business operations, sales performance, and team management across an assigned geographical area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing field teams, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring consistent execution of company strategies at the ground level.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Management:
- Drive sales growth and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for the assigned area
- Develop and execute area-wise sales plans aligned with overall business objectives
- Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and promotions in the market
Team Leadership & People Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Sales Managers, Relationship Managers, and field executives
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching for improvement
- Ensure high team motivation, productivity, and adherence to company policies
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales staff in the area
Market Development & Customer Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, dealers, and channel partners
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base
- Resolve escalations, customer complaints, and operational challenges promptly
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer needs
Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all locations within the assigned area
- Monitor stock availability, order fulfillment, and coordination with supply chain teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and local regulations
- Prepare and submit regular MIS reports, sales forecasts, and performance dashboards
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Proven expertise in area sales management and market expansion
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends
- Customer-centric approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and sales reporting systems
