Job Description:  Production:  - Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures are documented & are reviewed & edited as necessary.  - Ensure production and bottling line downtime is properly measured & analyzed for continuous improvement.  - Monitor inventories and recommend to stores manager to place orders to ensure business needs are met.  - Ensure a working proficiency with regards to purchasing, production, and maintenance procedures.  - Ensure all ISO 9001:2000, Safety and Food Safety audits are completed on time, all corrective action items are completed, & all operators understand the goals.  - Work with other Team Leaders on cost, quality, & safety issues.  - Generate ideas and implement changes in processes and use of equipment to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee morale.  - Plan and implement key initiatives to improve operations, including HACCP Program, Reliability Improvement, Environmental Health and Safety Programs, & other Technical Training Programs.  - Assign cost reduction programs for various production teams and monitor implementation  - To review activities related to Material Planning, Vendors, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory Control, Budgeting, Costing, Controls, Resource utilization, MIS and reporting.  People Management:  - Responsible for the day-to-day management of Production Supervisor and Production staff, ensuring labor and work is allocated appropriately in order to gain maximum efficiency.  - Perform performance appraisal of sub-ordinates  MIS:  - Review all production paperwork, including Worksheets, downtime reports, production count numbers, & rework reports etc.  - Authorize Daily production reports, stores status reports and manpower utilization reports and send to GM- Production for review  Desired Candidate Profile:  Education:  UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization  PG:Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization  Doctorate:Any Doctorate - Any Specialization  Production management expert:  -Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of production function and manages it with competence.  - In-depth knowledge of biofuel, edible oil or renewable energy related industries and criticalities of process flow.  - Links production programs to the organizations mission & service outcomes.  - Production Planning and control (PPC) Champion  - Capable of following and at times making decision which involve interpretation of the laws;
