Role Overview:

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and highly ethical Sales Executive to help increase patient footfall through a focused doctor referral strategy. The role involves building trust-based relationships with diabetologists, endocrinologists, and general practitioners across Chennai and positioning our hospital as a referral center for advanced diabetes and diabetic foot care.

We are not looking to compete with or poach patients from referring doctors-instead, we act as a specialty referral partner with full respect for the ongoing care relationship between doctor and patient.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, visit, and build long-term relationships with key referring doctors in Chennai (mainly diabetologists, GPs, endocrinologists).

- Clearly communicate the hospital's referral model-where the primary physician remains in charge-and build confidence in this approach.

- Maintain a strong ethical and diplomatic approach in all communications and interactions.

- Actively highlight MV's specialized expertise in diabetic foot care, including advanced wound healing techniques, an in-house multidisciplinary foot care team, and access to patented diabetic footwear solutions.

- Educate referring doctors about how MV can serve as a center of excellence for diabetic foot complications, thereby offering their patients highly specialized care while maintaining their primary treatment relationship.

- Provide regular updates and feedback to the CEO's office regarding market responses, doctor concerns, and referral trends.

- Collaborate with the hospital's operations and marketing team to develop high-quality outreach material (e.g., brochures, videos, case studies).

- Maintain detailed logs of doctor visits and follow-ups; track and report referrals received.

- Build trust by ensuring timely follow-up with referred patients and feedback loops to the referring doctors.

Candidate Profile:

Required Experience:

- 2-4 years in pharmaceutical sales, hospital marketing, or healthcare business development.
Essential Traits & Skills:

- Exceptional communication and presentation skills

- High level of diplomacy, professionalism, and persistence

- Strong understanding of patient and doctor dynamics

- Comfortable with fieldwork and frequent travel within Chennai

- Highly ethical approach to referral-based selling

Qualifications: Graduate in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management, or related fields preferred

Travel Reimbursement

Work Schedule

Full-time (Monday to Saturday)

Field visits based on schedule and territory requirements

Weekly in-person or virtual review with CEO/assigned representative
