Murugappa Group - Project Manager - Water & Wastewater Projects

Murugappa Water Technology & Solutions (MWTS), part of the Murugappa Group, is looking to hire a Project Engineer to drive end-to-end execution of water and wastewater treatment projects.

This is a mid-senior level role requiring strong expertise in project planning, execution, and coordination across engineering and operational teams.

Role Overview:

The role involves managing project lifecycles from planning to commissioning, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards across complex water treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion

- Develop detailed project schedules, timelines, and resource plans

- Ensure delivery within defined timelines, budgets, and quality standards

2. Cross-functional Coordination

- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, operations, and site teams

- Ensure alignment across stakeholders for seamless project execution

- Manage vendor interactions and on-site coordination

3. Monitoring & Control

- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions

- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards

- Prepare regular project status reports and updates for stakeholders

4. Technical & Execution Support

- Support project estimation, design understanding, and execution planning

- Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of systems

- Troubleshoot issues during project execution and provide resolution

Skills & Qualifications:

- 5-10 years of experience in Project Engineering / Execution roles

- Strong understanding of project planning, estimation, scheduling, and execution processes

- Experience in water / wastewater treatment projects preferred

- Good knowledge of project management tools and methodologies

- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills

Eligibility Criteria:

- B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

- Experience in handling end-to-end project lifecycle preferred
