Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Data Product Manager - Inventory Management with strong expertise in product management, data analytics, demand and supply planning, and retail operations.

The ideal candidate will drive product discovery, identify business opportunities through data analysis, and translate business needs into data-driven product solutions that improve inventory performance and supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive product discovery to identify problems, opportunities, and improvement areas across retail supply chain and inventory management.

- Define product vision, roadmap, and priorities aligned with business objectives and data-driven outcomes.

- Identify, define, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product performance and business impact.

- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and supply chain operations teams to develop and deliver effective product solutions.

- Translate business requirements into clear product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.

- Leverage data analysis to support demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and demand and supply planning.

- Evaluate emerging industry trends, technologies, and business opportunities to identify potential product enhancements.

- Apply knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their applications in supply chain, including model outputs and data pipelines.

- Work with data lakes, APIs, and event-driven architectures to support data-driven product capabilities.

- Use SQL, Python, and data visualization tools to analyze data, generate insights, and support product decisions.

- Assess and improve inventory management processes to enhance operational efficiency and supply chain performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 4 - 8 years of experience in Product Management, with strong exposure to data and analytics.

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Demand and Supply Planning.

- Minimum 4 years of experience in Inventory Management.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Retail industry, preferably within retail supply chain operations.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

- Working knowledge of Python for data exploration and analysis.

- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their applications in supply chain, including data pipelines and model outputs.

- Experience working with data lakes, APIs, and event-driven architectures.

- Strong requirements documentation and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to translate complex business problems into actionable product requirements and data-driven solutions.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with demand and supply planning systems such as Blue Yonder or SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP).

- Experience in inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and retail supply chain transformation.

- Exposure to data science and data engineering workflows.
