Environmental, Social & Corporate Governance Ratings - Senior Associate  Position Overview :  The position will be responsible for :   - Managing a group of analysts working on daily production deliverables   - Ensuring top quality data publication as per predefined schedule   - Supporting existing and new MSCI ESG products and services.   - Role is primarily that of a team and process lead.  Scope of Responsibility / Expectation :  Manage a team of analysts and associates based in Mumbai/Manila as follows :  - Analyze performance metrics (timeliness, efficiency, quality, controls) and implement opportunities for continuous improvement;  - Undertake performance reviews and regular appraisals to ensure that each team member works towards clearly defined and accepted personal goals.  - Handle recruitment and selection of new staff;  - Manage the overall workflow and ensure timely delivery of data profiles in accordance with established production schedules  - Conduct quality assurance and control on processed information for the coverage universe using acceptable methods, techniques and sources  - Work with other teams within MSCI ESG in support of planned product enhancements and extensions  - Be involved in strategic discussions about scaling up operations, process changes, business priorities, client expectations etc  - Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify potential data issues and resolutions and perform root cause analysis if issues with the data are identified  Specific Knowledge / Skills :  - Ability to enhance production processes and develop analyst teams across various locations.   - Good judgment in assessing performance metrics for analyst development.   - Understanding the downstream effects of data related decisions on final products/client impact and driving production process in line with these requirements.  Desired Experience :  - A minimum of 7 years relevant working experience (i.e. Sustainability research and/or data-heavy process management) in a production-driven environment, with at least 3-4 years' experience in leading a team.   - Prior knowledge of ESG and/or financial markets is key.  Desired Qualifications :  - At least a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or field of study in line with ESG research.   - Post-graduate degree is a plus. Highly motivated, independent, results-oriented individual possessing a strong sense of ownership
