Senior Manager Accounts Receivable

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager to lead our Account Receivable Tem. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in accounting principles, in accounts receivable functions, and will be responsible for driving automation processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. This role requires exceptional team management skills, as well as the ability to manage escalations effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Drive automation initiatives within the accounting receivable team, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing automation tools.

- Oversee the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate billing, collections, and reporting.

- Manage and resolve escalations related to accounting processes, providing guidance and support to team members.

- Utilize expert knowledge of automation tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.

- Monitor and manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metrics, implementing strategies to optimize cash flow.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of accounting processes and automation workflows.

- Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and best practices in accounting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align accounting processes with overall business objectives.

Mandatory Skills:

- Expert knowledge in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on accounts receivable.

- Proven team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

- Expertise in automation tools and technologies relevant to accounting processes.

- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions and macros.

- Experience with database management tools such as MS Access.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required.

- Demonstrated expertise knowledge in accounting receivable function and knowledge automation and process optimization.
