GCC Sales Hunter role
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Hunter to join our Global Capability Centre (GCC) team. The role focuses on identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities globally. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth by targeting new clients, expanding market presence, and building long-term relationships with top-tier organizations. This is a fast-paced, results-driven role ideal for someone with a passion for sales and a deep understanding of business capabilities, technology solutions, and global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development:
- Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across global markets.
- Understand client needs, pain points, and opportunities to pitch relevant solutions effectively.
- Generate and qualify leads through research, outreach, and networking.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with a focus on high-value accounts.
- Drive the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a smooth handoff to the delivery team.
Global Market Strategy:
- Develop and execute a tailored sales strategy to meet global targets and expand the company's footprint.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify new trends, industry needs, and emerging opportunities globally.
- Work closely with regional sales teams to ensure alignment on global strategies and regional execution.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate long-term, strategic relationships with new clients, focusing on building trust and delivering value.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the sales process, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, solutions, product, and delivery teams) to tailor offerings and ensure client needs are met.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Focus on high-growth opportunities and industries where the company's capabilities and solutions provide a competitive advantage.
- Provide accurate forecasts and progress updates to senior leadership, adapting strategies as necessary.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Global Capability Centre (GCC) and other internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered seamlessly.
- Provide feedback to internal teams regarding client expectations, industry demands, and potential product improvements.
Sales Reporting & Insights:
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, monitor pipeline health, and ensure accurate reporting.
- Deliver regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and competitor activities to the leadership team.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of sales processes, strategies, and best practices
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of success in selling complex solutions and services, ideally in the context of Global Capability Centres (e.g., IT services, outsourcing, consulting, or digital transformation).
- Demonstrated ability to quickly build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and effectively position solutions.
- Self-starter with a highly motivated, results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
