Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Manager to lead and oversee the financial operations across multiple brand properties. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial health, ensuring statutory compliance, and driving strategic growth. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting functions, lead funding initiatives, and provide financial insights to support expansion and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all properties.

- Consolidate financials for management and ensure timely submission of MIS reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, KPIs).

- Oversee monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to aid strategic decision-making.

2. Funding & Financial Strategy

- Identify funding requirements for expansion, renovation, and operational activities.

- Liaise with banks, investors, and financial institutions for loans, credit lines, and funding opportunities.

- Develop financial models, ROI analyses, and investment proposals for new projects or strategic initiatives.

- Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure optimal utilization of funds and financial stability.

3. Compliance, Audit & Internal Controls

- Ensure adherence to all statutory compliances including GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC filings, and related regulations.

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and resolve audit observations promptly.

- Strengthen internal controls, risk management practices, and asset safeguarding processes.

- Conduct and review internal audits across departments (F&B, housekeeping, laundry, linen, etc.).

- Monitor procurement, stock management, and operational processes to minimize leakages, wastage, and fraud.

- Develop and enforce finance-related SOPs to ensure uniformity and compliance across all units.

4. Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accountants and finance executives across multiple locations.

- Ensure effective collaboration with property managers and department heads for smooth financial operations.

- Conduct regular training on accounting standards, compliance requirements, and audit procedures.

5. Systems & Process Optimization

- Implement and manage ERP / accounting software across properties.

- Standardize reporting formats and accounting workflows for improved operational efficiency.

- Drive automation and data-driven decision-making through technology adoption.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and audit management.

- Proven experience in hospitality finance (hotels, hostels, or F&B chains).

- Expertise in Tally ERP, Oracle, or Hotel PMS systems.

- Strong analytical mindset with strategic and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification (mandatory).

- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounting, preferably within the hospitality industry.

- Proven experience in managing multi-property operations, funding, financial planning, and internal audits.
