The Business Development Manager - Property Acquisition will play a key role in expanding Moustaches property portfolio by sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring strategic assets across key markets.
The role involves market research, site visits, financial analysis, negotiation, and building strong industry relationships to support Moustaches growth and expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Sourcing & Acquisition:
- Identify potential properties including hotels, hostels, land parcels, commercial buildings, and residential units suitable for conversion.
- Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and preliminary due diligence.
- Evaluate property potential based on location, demand patterns, accessibility, and brand requirements.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Analyze local real estate trends, micro-markets, pricing, and competitor activity.
- Prepare detailed market intelligence reports to support decision-making.
- Assess financial viability, ROI, projections, and risk metrics for shortlisted properties.
Negotiation & Deal Closure:
- Lead discussions and negotiations with property owners, brokers, landlords, and developers.
- Structure acquisition or lease proposals, ensuring competitive commercial terms.
- Work closely with the legal team on drafting and finalizing agreements.
- Ensure timely and smooth closure of acquisition and leasing deals.
Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, real estate agents, developers, and institutional partners.
- Attend property expos, networking events, and industry forums to increase deal flow.
- Maintain rapport with existing partners to generate repeat opportunities.
Internal Coordination:
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Senior Management to align acquisition strategy with business objectives.
- Present property proposals, ROI evaluations, and feasibility insights to leadership.
- Ensure all acquisitions align with Moustaches brand, compliance standards, and legal frameworks.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in property acquisition, real estate BD, leasing, or similar roles.
- Proven track record of closing property or leasing deals is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently for site visits and negotiations.
