Role Overview:

As a SAP FICO Group Reporting Solution Architect, you will serve as the primary technical authority for complex financial consolidation projects within the S/4HANA ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between intricate business requirements and technical execution, working closely with global stakeholders, finance leadership, and cross-functional project teams. Your work will directly influence the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting, ensuring that clients can navigate complex regulatory environments and internal reporting needs with precision and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and architect end-to-end financial consolidation solutions using SAP Group Reporting to meet the complex reporting requirements of global enterprises.

- Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP Group Reporting Data Collection (GRDC) to streamline data acquisition from diverse source systems.

- Provide expert-level guidance on SAP S/4HANA Finance integration, ensuring seamless data flow between operational accounting and group consolidation modules.

- Translate complex business financial needs into robust technical blueprints, ensuring scalability and compliance with international accounting standards.

- Mentor project teams and provide technical oversight during the full lifecycle of SAP implementations to maintain high standards of delivery.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot critical architectural bottlenecks, ensuring the stability and performance of the financial reporting landscape.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep functional expertise in SAP FICO and SAP Group Reporting, with a proven track record of delivering complex financial consolidation projects.

- Possess advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP Group Reporting Data Collection, including the ability to map complex data structures for reporting purposes.

- Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical architectural decisions to non-technical stakeholders and senior management.

- Maintain a high degree of adaptability to work effectively in a distributed, remote-first environment across multiple time zones.

- Hold a relevant educational background, such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology, complemented by 10 to 18 years of professional experience in SAP consulting.

- Show a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously while maintaining rigorous attention to detail.
