Motilal Oswal - Investment Banking Associate - Real Estate Sector

- We are seeking a motivated Investment Banking Associate - Real Estate with 2-3 years of experience to join our team.

- The role involves supporting senior bankers in executing transactions, preparing financial models, and conducting detailed analysis on real estate companies and assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the execution of real estate M&A, equity, and debt transactions.

- Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, NAV, comparables, precedent transactions).

- Conduct valuation and sensitivity analyses across residential, commercial, retail, and REIT segments.

- Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations.

- Perform industry and market research, tracking key trends and regulatory developments in real estate.

- Coordinate due diligence processes and liaise with clients, legal, and other advisors.

- Support senior bankers in client coverage and business development initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, real estate private equity, or equity research (real estate).

- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.

- Knowledge of real estate sector dynamics, capital markets, and transaction structures.

- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.).
