Role Overview
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving regional sales growth, managing distributor and agent relationships, and supporting the company's strategic expansion in the Mumbai region. This position is suited for a dynamic sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about empowering others through innovative business models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet business targets
- Manage and mentor a network of distributors, agents, and channel partners
- Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify new opportunities
- Drive business growth through new customer acquisition and upselling to existing partners
- Organize training sessions and provide continuous support to sales teams and agents
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve any client issues promptly
- Track and report on regional sales performance metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize service delivery and customer experience
- Travel within the assigned region as needed to build and maintain client relationships
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience in Sales Management with a record of achieving or exceeding targets
- Strong understanding of Sales Strategies, Market Research, and Business Development
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Team Training, Leadership, and Distributor/Agent Handling
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region as part of the role
- Bachelors OR Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience in e-commerce, retail, or digital services sectors is an added advantage
