Morgan Stanley Investment Management strives to provide outstanding long-term investment performance, service and a comprehensive suite of investment management solutions to a diverse client base, which includes governments, institutions, corporations and individuals worldwide.  Position Overview  We are looking for career-minded professionals with global perspective to join the Mumbai based Integrated Marketing Services team as a Vice President to be involved in Marketing Operations and Product Management. The role specifically supports the senior members of the Marketing Operations and Product Management teams within MSIM Marketing.   The primary responsibility of the role is to oversee the Marketing Operations team and Product Management team in Mumbai, manage the performance update process of marketing materials including product pitch books, fact cards, sales tools, brochures, white papers, website content and also oversee the Product Management team in Mumbai that supports various teams throughout the organization by using data to provide competitive intelligence and market research on various topics for both the retail and institutional market segments. The role will be focused on supporting new and impactful ways to enhance the operational marketing platform as well as project manage automation initiatives.   Marketing materials and product management analysis reports are for strategies and funds across the Morgan Stanley Investment Management platform, for clients based in North America, EMEA and Asia. The team works with firm systems, databases and resources to source quantitative and qualitative data, complete drafts of performance updates for review by senior team member. In addition the individual will be responsible for managing the production calendar for the performance update cycle and also the production cycle of the competitive and industry reports related to industry flows and product positioning. Members work in a fast paced, collaborative team environment.   The successful candidate has experience in or knowledge of the investment management industry, experience with aggregating, interpreting performance data and understanding product positioning versus competitors and in the context of the overall industry.   Key Responsibilities   - Lead a team based in Mumbai that is responsible for updates to marketing materials and providing competitive and industry analysis.   - Manage and support the updating of monthly/quarterly materials including fact cards, performance summaries, presentations, collateral and oversee and support monthly fund performance and analytics reports   - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data through implementation of quality control processes, proofing and data checking  - Work closely with a dedicated team of professionals whose primary responsibilities are to effectively communicate product details, competitive advantages and industry trends to Senior Management, Portfolio Management and Distribution teams   - Continuously monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends (utilizing internal and external data/information resources) in order to help position products appropriately   - Partner with the key stakeholders including technology team to ensure timely execution of all initiatives with key focus will be on system and data related projects  - Perform quality control checks on material development and performance update process  - Contribute to ongoing quality and efficiency improvements   - Provide back up to other team members, peer review of first drafts and training of junior team members  - Work across the global MSIM Business Development teams located in North America, Europe and Asia  Position Requirements:   - Bachelor's degree   - Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, Experience with Morningstar, Morningstar Direct, eVestment, Lipper and Zephyr preferred  - Minimum of seven years of relevant industry experience  - Proven history of managing teams through influence at all levels and across functions within a financial institution  - Strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders  3-4 years of team handling experience is a must.  Level: Vice President
