About the Role
As a Manager - Fleet Maintenance at Moove.io, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our urban mobility infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end fleet maintenance operations across multiple cities, ensuring high vehicle uptime, cost efficiency, and standardized processes. The position will drive centralized control over maintenance, vendor management, and performance tracking. What you'll be doing
Fleet Maintenance Management:
- Oversee preventive (PMS) and corrective maintenance across all cities
- Ensure maximum vehicle uptime and minimal breakdowns
- Ensure quality, compliance, and safety of Moove assets.
- Manage the Insurance process in line with Policy requirements.
- Ensure that all Insurance claims are completed expediently and vehicles brought back to operation in the minimum timeframe.
Cost Control & Optimization:
- Monitor maintenance cost per vehicle and overall spend
- Drive cost reduction initiatives across refurbishment and repairs
Vendor & Partner Management:
- Manage workshops, OEMs, and service vendors
- Negotiate commercials and ensure SLA adherence (TAT, quality)
- Build, Manage, Measure, and Maintain relationships with Suppliers and Repair outlets to ensure that uptime of Fleet is maximised.
Process & SOP Implementation:
- Develop and standardize maintenance SOPs across locations
- Ensure consistent execution and compliance
- Continuous Improvement mindset with respect to processes and systems to create efficiencies and synergies.
Data & Performance Management:
- Track KPIs through dashboards and reports
- Drive data-based decision making and continuous improvement
Inventory & Procurement:
- Manage tyres, batteries, Telematics, and spare parts procurement
- Ensure optimum inventory and cost efficiency
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work closely with City Ops, Finance, and Supply teams
- Ensure smooth coordination and execution
What you will need for this position
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in Fleet Operations / Maintenance / Automotive Operations experience preferred.
- An Associates or Technical degree in Motor Mechanics is a must .
- Hands-On Fleet Industry Experience is a must
- Strong experience in multi-city operations handling
- Good understanding of vendor management and cost control
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in dashboarding and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office; Google Office Suite and web-based applications preferred.

- Ensuring time bound inspection and reduce downtimes
- Vehicle Uptime (%)
- PMS Adherence (%), Fleet level plan for PMS and adherence
- Maintenance Cost per Vehicle (- ) and Monthly Cost projection vs actual
- Repair Turnaround Time (TAT), Fortnightly report on Cost & TAT
- Refurbishment Cost Reduction (%)
- Vendor SLA Adherence and vendor management
- Breakdown Rate Reduction
- Inventory Efficiency
- Ensuring TAT of insurance claims under defined limits
- Coordination with Insurance for any escalation
- Monthly billing process with formats Submission from vendor to Company Accounts
