About the Role:
A Deputy Manager - Operations (Central Operations) role at Moove is a pivotal position responsible for developing and building dashboards, analysing operational data, and supporting the central operations team in optimizing processes and reporting. You will act as a core strategic partner to leadership, transforming complex operational and financial datasets into scalable business intelligence, executive insights, identify revenue leakages, and drive fleet productivity across multiple regions. The role requires a strong understanding of data analysis, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
What you'll be doing:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Operational Support: Support the central operations team with data-driven insights to optimize workflows, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance. KPI dashboard design, yield optimization, and cross-functional process automation.
- Establish single-source-of-truth semantic models and KPI frameworks to track fleet utilization, trip yield, driver retention, maintenance costs, and asset performance.
- Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
- Conduct rigorous root-cause analyses (RCA) and deep dives into regional fleet bottlenecks, vehicle downtime, churn drivers, and revenue leakage points.
- Oversee data integrity and governance across CRM, fleet tracking, and telemetry systems to ensure accurate billing, incentive distribution, and compliance.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with various departments to identify and implement process improvements based on data analysis.
- Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all systems.
- Ad-hoc Requests: Respond to ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical support as needed.
What you will need for this position:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in business analytics, operational reporting, or data science. Experience in mobility marketplaces, ride-hailing fleets, asset finance, logistics, or quick-commerce is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in data analysis, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and experience with database management.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Exceptional structured thinking, numerical aptitude, and ability to break down ambiguous operational challenges into clear quantitative frameworks.
- Experience in the financial services, Internet/ E-commerce Industry or mobility sector is a plus.

- Own processes for centrally driven exercise for existing drivers
- Churn mitigation
- Improve collections
- Own daily reconciliation of driver payment
