MonoSpear - SAP FICO Consultant

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support, implement, and optimize SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to understand financial processes, configure SAP systems accordingly, and ensure accurate financial reporting, cost control, and compliance with organizational and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and support General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting

- Manage financial closing activities (month-end, quarter-end, and year-end)

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements

- Support financial reporting and integration with other SAP modules

- Configure and manage Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and Product Costing

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control processes

- Analyze variances and provide insights to business stakeholders

- Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects

- Gather business requirements and prepare functional specification documents

- Perform system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support

- Resolve production issues and provide ongoing system support

- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate FICO with modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HR

- Coordinate with technical teams for ABAP developments, enhancements, and reports

- Provide end-user training and documentation

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

- 6-8+ years of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP FI and CO configuration

- In-depth understanding of accounting principles and financial processes

- Experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA

- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
