Role Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Oracle Practice Head to lead our Oracle practice across product lines including E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
The ideal candidate will have a blend of functional, technical, and leadership expertise, with proven experience in managing end-to-end delivery, client engagement, presales, and practice growth initiatives.
The Oracle Practice Head will be responsible for driving the EBS to Fusion transition roadmap, leading high-performing teams, managing client relationships, and supporting business development through solutioning and RFP responses.
Key Responsibilities:
Practice Leadership:
- Lead and manage the Oracle practice across EBS, Fusion Cloud, and related Oracle technologies.
- Define the practice vision, roadmap, and competency development strategy.
- Drive standardization of delivery frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
Solution Delivery:
- Oversee and guide the implementation and migration projects from EBS to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Provide hands-on expertise in both functional and technical areas of Oracle applications.
- Ensure high-quality delivery, project governance, and stakeholder satisfaction.
Client Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for key Oracle clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and value delivery.
- Conduct strategic reviews with customers to align business objectives with Oracle solutions.
Presales and Business Development:
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop Oracle solution offerings and go-to-market strategies.
- Lead RFP/RFI responses, solution presentations, and proposal creation.
- Provide solution architecture and estimation support for Oracle-related pursuits.
Team Management:
- Mentor and guide consultants across functional and technical streams.
- Build internal competencies by identifying training and certification needs.
- Foster collaboration between cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 15+ years of overall experience in Oracle ERP applications.
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM).
- Proven experience in EBS to Fusion transition or migration projects.
- Solid understanding of functional modules (Finance, SCM, HCM) and technical components (Reports, Integrations, Extensions).
- Demonstrated success in client-facing roles managing customer expectations and solution delivery.
- Experience in Presales, including RFP/RFI preparation, solution demos, and estimation.
- Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and delivery teams.
