Position Purpose:

We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives in the pharma, agro, and specialty chemicals verticals, with a primary focus on the domestic Indian market & export market. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment and wants to make a tangible impact on growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Key Accounts: Own and grow relationships with existing domestic and global customers.

New Customer Acquisition:

- 1. Onboard new pharma and agro customers in India within 12 months.

- 2. Actively identify and convert leads through market intelligence and field visits.

New Product Promotion:

- 1. Introduce 57 new chemical intermediates to customers each year.

- 2. Collaborate with R&D and sourcing teams to pitch technical product value.

Export Sales:

- 1. Assist in converting export leads to orders, including coordination and follow-ups.

- 2. Represent Monachem at select international trade fairs and customer meetings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- 1. Work closely with internal sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

- 2. Contribute to weekly sales review and planning huddles.

Key Qualifications:

Experience: 6 - 10+ years of proven experience in sales/ marketing of chemical intermediates to pharma or agro companies.

Skills & Attributes:

- Strong relationship builder with excellent communication skills.

- Hands-on attitude with a clear bias for action.

- Analytical thinker with comfort in discussing pricing, gross margin, and commercial strategy.

- Cultural fit: accountable, flexible, values collaboration, and believes in long-term growth.

Travel: Willingness to travel across India and occasionally overseas.
