Role Objective
(1) Lead end-to-end inorganic growth by identifying, evaluating, and executing value-accretive M&A (Manufacturing space), investments, partnerships, and strategic initiatives to accelerate Moglix's growth across categories, geographies, and capabilities
(2) Strengthen competitive positioning through strategic adjacencies and capability expansion
Role Responsibilities
(1) Own and manage the entire Corporate Development lifecycle - Business development, deal sourcing, screening, evaluation, diligence, negotiation, acquisition and strategic partnerships, with the aim to acquire relevant manufacturing assets.
(2) Conduct market landscaping, competitive analysis, and white-space identification
(3) Develop and maintain a robust deal pipeline aligned with org's strategic priorities
(4) Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO, CFO, COO and Board on acquisitions and corporate restructuring
(5) Perform deep-dive analysis of business models, unit economics, growth drivers, risks, and scalability
(6) Act as a key interface with investment bankers, PE/VC firms, legal advisors, consultants, and founders of target companies
(7) Support post-acquisition integration planning and execution, including synergy tracking, governance setup, and alignment with operating model.
Work Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Corporate Development, front-end transaction advisory /investment banking
- Experience in acquisition of manufacturing assets
- Demonstrated experience in deal sourcing & business development
Knowledge/Skills
(1) Strong blend of sales skills, strategic thinking, financial acumen, deal execution capability, and stakeholder management to shape Moglix's long-term growth strategy
(2) Superior research & analytical skills to draw logical conclusions with often limited/imperfect information
Education
MBA from a reputed institute / CA
