Job Title: Manager - Taxation

Department: Finance & Taxation

Reports to: Associate Director Finance

Key Responsibilities

Direct Taxation (Domestic & Global):

- Manage end-to-end direct tax compliance for all Moglix group entities.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of annual Income Tax Returns (ITR).

- Handle comprehensive tax audit requirements, ensuring preparation and filing of Form 3CA/3CD.

- Manage Transfer Pricing compliances, including the preparation of Form 3CEB (Transfer Pricing Audit Report) and coordination for TP documentation.

- Ensure adherence to other statutory filings such as Form 3CEAA, Form 61A (SFT), etc.

- Oversee and manage corporate tax compliance for our global entities (UAE, Singapore, USA, KSA), coordinating with local consultants as required.

Indirect Taxation (GST):

- Take ownership of annual GST compliances for group entities.

- Manage the preparation, review, and filing of GSTR-9 (Annual Return) and GSTR-9C (Reconciliation Statement).

Audits, Assessments & Litigation:

- Act as the primary point of contact for statutory, internal, and tax auditors; ensure all data requirements are met and audits are closed within scheduled timelines.

- Independently handle Income Tax assessments, prepare submissions, and represent the company before tax authorities.

- Manage and respond to all government notices (Income Tax & GST) in a timely manner.

- Handle GST government audits and appeals, preparing necessary documentation and representations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must-Haves:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.

- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience focused purely on taxation.

- Proven, hands-on experience in corporate direct taxation, including year-end filings (ITR, Tax Audit, TP).

- Strong working knowledge of GST, particularly annual returns and audits.

- Experience in handling tax assessments and interacting with tax authorities.
