Role Objective:

We are looking for a high-impact and high-energy professional with a strong background in Wires Industry and a strong inclination to drive category revenue by identifying new opportunities and help in effective procurement of given category. The role requires a high caliber person with an ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high levels of sales and procurement acumen, operational rigor, and business excellence. The incumbent is expected to lead vendor relationships, chart out category road map, own the margins for category/brands and inventory management.

Role Responsibilities:

- Build, maintain and expand the category revenue by working closely with sales teams; building and maintaining rapport with key OEMs; identifying new business opportunities.

- Procurement of given category products through a good understanding and knowledge of the ecosystem of OEMs.

- Be the voice of the field. Recommend product lines or brands by identifying new product opportunities, and track competitors in the category.

- Active co-ordination with the Brands sales/after sales team for quick quotes/negotiation on pricing.

- Ensuring achievement of monthly/quarterly category quota & GM % targets.

- Ensure optimum inventory levels.

- Negotiation of quarterly, annual schemes with OEMs.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Business, or a related field. MBA is preferred.

- 5-8 years of experience in Category Management, Product Management, Procurement, or Business Development within the ELV, Security, Networking, or Electrical industry.

Total Experience: 7-12 years
