About the Role:

Modi Naturals has disrupted one of the toughest spaces in the Indian FMCG industry - edible oils. Led by a first-generation entrepreneur, we've carved out a strong niche and scaled rapidly against Indian and global FMCG giants.

We are now looking for a young, ambitious New Product Development (NPD) Manager to help take us into the next orbit of growth.

As part of our NPD team, you will own end-to-end new product development - from sourcing and vendor development to product launch and market success. This role offers a rare opportunity to create a lasting legacy in a startup that has already achieved meaningful scale.

Key Result Areas:

You will take a 360-degree approach to new product development, including:

- Development of suppliers as per business requirements

- Negotiation of margins and finalization of product costs

- Benchmarking competitor pricing, promotions, discount policies & validity periods

- Conducting product sampling (taste, smell & appearance tests)

- Setting up QC norms for new vendors and creating SOPs

- Coordinating with Legal to ensure packaging compliance with FSSAI, Legal & Metrology norms

- Collaborating with Sales & Marketing teams on market placement and promotion strategies

Essential Criteria:

- MBA

- Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing and product development

- Preference for candidates with experience in private labels at Modern Trade / E-commerce retailers

- Excellent communication & presentation skills
